@tmaslbas@RepThomasMassie People got to realize there is a lot of new money out there. Freaking 17 year olds winning gaming tournaments. Influencers. Crypto gamblers. All that money is going to flow somewhere. And you literally cannot build them like they used to. Skilled labor is disappearing. $$
@OwenShroyer1776 And housing was collapsing… hundreds of thousands of construction contracts canceled overnight. But yes inelastic commodities were cheap.
@jeffdeist Well dollars don’t store value. By design. If the did people would stock pile them instead of investing in real assets that produce wealth. Good starting point?
@bryan_caplan Hmmm. What about those of us that have traveled the world, found people and cultures we love all over but still think if you come here, you should learn English and assimilate? I think that’s where most Americans fall.
@PeterMallouk I agree with you on the debt… However. You are using raw numbers deceptively. Our total net worth is about 200 trillion. Maybe more depending on how you price institutions and potential.
@GrahamStephan Only if you buy and hold and pay no attention to the markets… like me. Alas, it is more fun to see net worth rise at end of year instead of fall.
