I was ghosted.
Nobody gave a damn about me, my content, or my brand.
I just posted into the void every day.
I want to stand out.
But how do you actually stand out?
The answer is clear:
by doing the things that nobody is doing.
But look at what I was doing.
I chose the easy route.
I spent 5 minutes
crafting the same message
in the same length,
posted it,
then called it a day.
I was scared of being different.
I was scared of being judged.
So
It's fair that I was ghosted.
If I want more than that, I must do more than that.
I took hours to learn storytelling.
I spent hours crafting a story to convey my message.
I focused on building the connection
by sharing my own stories.
Fair enough, things started to change.
I started to gain traction with my writing.
I started to find my own voice.
I started to be different.
Now it's safe to say:
Personal stories can make you stand out from the crowd.
It's your USP.
No one can compete with them.
The message is the same,
but the person who wrote it is different.
People need connection, not perfection.
P.S. You're here—thank you.
I hope I’m not being ghosted after not posting for 3 days.
