If you fall behind on your rent you’ll be in rent arrears.
Dealing with this can be tough but you should take action as soon as possible.

Clear-eyed analysis plus genuine understanding in @jrf_uk annual #poverty report. Must read as rising #CostOfLiving puts pressure on low/middle income families. Well done @Helen_Barnard & Action colleagues.
Our #UKPoverty2022 report paints a picture of better prospects for some, but for others poverty is proving deep and persistent.
We must turn back the tide and offer security for the many people experiencing hardship across the UK.

Growth no longer about *flows* of eg income/GDP but *stocks* of eg well-being, natural/social capital.
Interesting proposal today from Andy Haldane CEO @theRSAorg
Couid AH and RSA put this properly on the agenda?

Absolutely right. Much better #financialeducation is essential. Would help millions of families and thus the whole community. But not compensate for low incomes, inadequate #SocialSecurity or poor local services.
We may look to the government to help us through hard times, but better financial education would also help us to help ourselves make the most of our money.
'In a country like ours.' @jrf_uk@KatieSchmuecker on a duty to ensure everyone can live with dignity. Useful reminder that absent real #SocialSecurity no country can live with dignity either.
Our social security system should enable people to meet their basic needs and live with dignity.
Without urgent intervention, rising inflation risks pulling people deeper into poverty.
We must strengthen our social security system now.

House the homeless. Govt tells councils that all rough sleepers regardless of their immigration status should be offered appropriate housing and a Covid jab https://t.co/rjzXmNhFEs Great news but sad takes another pandemic to make it happen. Solve homelessness? Give them a home!
'In a country like ours social security should, at a bare minimum, enable people to meet their needs with dignity. More and more people will be pulled deeper into poverty and debt in the months ahead unless the Government urgently strengthens support.

With just one day to go until we close for our Christmas break, we thought we'd share our beautiful "baubled" Christmas tree! Is "baubled" even a word? It is now! Thank you to every child who coloured in a bauble a popped it on our tree - it's been so much fun!
