That's simplistic. Juries are often tainted by their own prejudices and intellectual/ethical shortcomings. Look at the outcome of the OJ jury. He murdered 2 people and got away with it because of racism.

This isn't even as obscure as the Zimmerman case where you had one surviving witness.

There were plenty of witnesses to what happened and Anthony already confessed. He murdered that kid. Stabbed him in a public setting as though his life was on the line because he was being asked to move seats. At worst, Metcalf put his hands on Anthony - but it in no way justified stabbing him.
