A mentor told me this: Learn the difference between peace and avoidance. Peace is choosing not to fight battles that don’t matter. Avoidance is refusing to face the battles that do. Real wisdom is having awareness of which one you’re doing in the moment. I’ll never forget that.
@bharianmy This is why we should try to aim for minimum education to be at least a college degree and more real world subjects to be taught at schools.
Dude started well under PH1.0 era going after the Kleptocrats. And then under the Pengkhianat Rule, all kind of allegations against him being close to Azam Baki surfaced.
Jakim sangat strict sampai Jakim benarkan daging tak halal dijual sebagai halal sehingga 40 tahun, pastu bila kantoi bising sekejap, tapi senyap sampai sekarang sebab tak nak orang fikir Jakim ni sebenarnya tak guna pun and tak nak rosakkan imej yang kononnnya Jakim "strict".
@TaraBull I’m not changing my pouty lips. When I grow old, my lips will thin out and I will be the only one amongst my friends to still have my lips visible.
Onn Hafiz has dissolved Johor State Assembly while leaving 70+ data centres in Johor alone.
Imagine your legacy as a Chief Minister is allowing a group of corporations sucking the state dried of water, literally.
@KhaledNordin@anwaribrahim@MOFmalaysia -Yesterday, I raised concerns about Malaysia reportedly paying around 95% of the Naval Strike Missile (NSM) contract value, only to find itself searching for alternatives after Norway revoked the export licence.
Today, according to The Star, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin says Norway has apologised.
With respect, the apology raises more questions than it answers.
If Malaysia has already paid approximately 95% of the contract value, why isn't the discussion centred on recovering taxpayers' money immediately?
The Minister himself stated that Norway has yet to take concrete steps to assist Malaysia in recovering the payments already made.
That is the part Malaysians should be focusing on.
The LCS project has already become one of the most expensive & controversial defence programmes in our history.
-Years of delays.
-Repeated restructuring.
-Additional govt funding.
-Taxpayer-funded recovery efforts.
-Parliamentary investigations.
-Auditor-General findings.
-Public assurances that lessons had been learnt.
Today, we find ourselves discussing the possibility of spending even more money to restore a capability that was already contracted, substantially paid for & supposed to be delivered.
That should concern every Malaysian regardless of political affiliation.
Issue is no longer simply Norway's decision.
Issue now is who bears the financial consequences.
Will Malaysia recover the money already paid?
Will compensation cover the full losses incurred?
Will taxpayers be expected to absorb the cost of integrating & procuring a replacement system?
Will the final bill be even higher than originally planned?
These are legitimate questions.
An apology is diplomacy.
Compensation is accountability.
Malaysia must pursue every legal, commercial & diplomatic avenue available to recover every sen possible & minimise any further burden on taxpayers.
National security is critical.
So is financial responsibility.
After everything that has happened under the LCS programme, Malaysians should not be asked to pay twice for the same capability.
Rakyat deserve a full accounting of the financial impact, the recovery strategy, the legal options available & the expected cost of whatever comes next.
This is not politics.
Its accountability.
Accountability is the least taxpayers should expect after all these years.
The Pope is 100% correct here.
Also it's embarrassing that no Muslim scholar has displayed such moral and intellectual clarity over AI and the undeniable experiences fundamental to human existence beyond the cliche and lazy "everything must be used in moderation" platitude.
