This is only the beginning; there is much, MUCH more to come. We all invest heavily into our operations; we deserved a dedicated monitoring solution! 🫂
@DegenCapitalVC@karpuzmining@HashboardApp I personally haven't found a better cooling option than the Squid; you're going to be stoked! Congratulations on the win. 🦾
Congrats @DegenCapitalVC, you just won a rad custom Bitaxe in our @HashboardApp giveaway!
Send me a DM with your address or drive down to Florida and meet Chippy to get your prize.
If you’re not @DegenCapitalVC, you can still enter (and possibly win!) a Bitaxe Touch Turbo: https://t.co/7ux3BsQpR4
I plugged 25 miners into three different wall meters, and the results were shocking. 🔌
While the wall meter readouts were roughly the same, the dashboard numbers were all over the place. In some cases, the wall meters reported 30% more usage than the dashboard displayed.
When we developed @HashboardApp we wanted to solve this, so we created SmartMiner. Using Matter Smart Plugs, you simply plug in your miner, assign it in your Hashboard app, and instantly have access to the most accurate usage, efficiency, and cost-to-run data available on the market. Anywhere.
Get the most accurate data, and get entered to win a Bitaxe Touch Turbo:

@karpuzmining@KarmaCpu@HashboardApp Canaan has the least variance for me too, but it's still there; about 10-12 watts and ~2 J/TH on my Nano 3s's; enough for the variance on 2 of them to almost equal the load of a whole additional Bitaxe. 😳
@lollo_eth1 Fan size always depends on implementation; I would measure/confirm the size of your rear fan to be sure. But yes, one of these adapters with a T30 is a nice upgrade. And the T30 is 12V, so should be plug and play.
The Phanteks T30 12v fan eats Noctuas for breakfast, and I've been a hardcore Noctua fanboi forever. Only caveat, this isn't a fan you want running in your bedroom or office; it's not annoying noise, but it's just a lot of air moving through a duct which isn't quiet.
The Squid paired with a T30 is prime cooling form, though. Didn't even feel inclined to mess with the stock heatsinks. Have a dedicated 12v Meanwell for the fans running on a PWM controller. Stats are the 3 Squids on the bottom in the screenshot. They've been running high 50C's/low 60C's all winter in a 62F room; room temp today for the screenshot is 73F.
Ryan sells his multi-nodes, which run 5tratum OS, which is the same dev as all the AxeSuite tools. Must be that!
You might also be thinking of the hardware we've been working on (Overseer/Genesis), which we were planning to license 5tratum OS for, but another dev maliciously secured an exclusive license to try and handicap us lol. So we're taking other avenues, now. :D
No, the T30 is a 120mm fan and the stock configuration on the NerdQaxe++ is a 90mm. You can get an adapter (linked) to use a 120mm like the T30, but I got a build that came in a stand with a rear fan, and so the stock configuration is already sufficient for me to max out the overclock at 800, which you can't go past without modified firmware. So I haven't been motivated to chage the cooling, yet. That could change this summer haha.

@KarmaCpu@HashboardApp You're saying there's another app that copied SmartMiner? It's been in Hashboard for over a month. What's the other app that implemented this that you're talking about?
And thank you for the kind words, but this is all original code, no forks!
@KarmaCpu@HashboardApp No other apps have SmartMiner and report the accurate power and current from the wall, and thus they don't report accurate efficiency or costs either.
There's a massive, growing list of things in Hashboard you can't get in any other app. 🦾
The @PlebSource Hammer miners work out of the box with Hashboard, but were missing some data streams due to variance in the firmware implementation.
We’ve now got one on hand; full, proper support inbound. 🫡
Side note, you can see our Overseer hardware prototype behind it which gives you some scale on its size... 👀
Two contests, two free Bitcoin miners, one Hashboard App //
We launched @hashboardapp a few weeks ago, and now we’re working hard to get the word out.
We’re giving everyone a seven-day trial of all the premium membership features, and we’re also giving someone the chance to win a Bitaxe Touch Turbo touchscreen Bitcoin miner.
But that’s not all…there’s still five days left to enter our last contest for a highly customized Bitaxe Gamma. Two contests, two chances to win, one app that we think is pretty cool.
Check out the app, win some cool stuff!
Win a Touch Turbo:

Win a custom Gamma:

Charts, error rate tracking, current tracking, customizable layout, tuning schedules, our Overseer hardware…I know more will follow.
Nice to see @HashboardApp pushing innovation fwd for all; not the first mining dashboard, but already inspiring the rest to “borrow” our ideas. 🤓
Enjoying Hashboard? Appreciate that we give you the same base functionality of the other apps but without any miner limits, for free? 👀

@100AcresRanch Never had considered the whole "support sellers who give back to support future development" could've just been a more clever wording of pay to play...
