๐บ๐ธ After another horse dies, Mamdani renewed his calls to ban carriage rides in NYC:
"I support removing horse carriages from Central Park. Iโve also said that I look forward to working with union partners and community leaders to actually deliver on that.
I know that many New Yorkers were disturbed by what they saw yesterday, and I'm one of them.
I think in Central Park, what we've seen is a lot of concern about the welfare of these horses, and I want to figure out a way for us to actually get to the end of that path.โ
Surely, everyone can get behind Mamdani on this one

@Newsweek Gee, I wonder why someone with a clear self defence got off while someone who stabbed another kid over a push got 35 years. It's almost like Anthony's case of self defence was BS
@strahinjagov@DelusionPosting Technically, yes. But not by much since he did follow the other rules that help get you a lighter sentence. The minor thing serves as his brain isn't fully developed & therefore reacts to minor situations differently to adults. That being, overreacting & escalating to violence
@CatchUpFeed I would say this is why men have shorter lives. But this is actually genius. Those two men look like they weigh more than this guy and can keep the ladder from tipping
