not to be rude but some of you are trying to derive an understanding of palestine entirely from tweets reacting to other tweets reacting to other tweets. every day i open this app and discover another argument that was already answered in palestinian literature 30+ years ago
A Black man with no institutional backing who walks the walk and calls out fake leftists has upset a yt lady at Jacobin. The man got beaten up trying to get to Gaza last year, something that showed explicit anti-Black racism but let's talk abt his flashy grills & chains.
Over the past 2 days a million images were shared in stories & posts of the “Israeli” flag in the Beaufort Castle. I do not see anyone sharing this video now, nor media outlets writing extensive analyses of it. How do you all accept to be conditioned so badly by what the media chooses to focus on & by the spirit of despair it wants to instil in us on behalf of the Enemy?
@FPLfrasier Entire Arsenal team been doing this every match this season in the prem. Amazing how the officials allowed it every game. Almost every time I watched another team do this, yellow cards for at least 1 player.
There are people in Lebanon (of all sects) doing great work for the displaced people of South Lebanon. There is no friction with the population. Most residents in all areas of the country have handled the situation with kindness and even generosity. Social media don’t reflect.
Israelis destroying water infrastructure in Lebanon as part of its campaign to deliberately inflict conditions of life calculated to bring about the physical destruction of the people of Lebanon.
Due to the Israelis inept ability to confront real men on the battlefield, they are planning on taking it out on a displaced population in Beirut with the aim of striking residential buildings that have no military value.
@WhoScored Don’t know why people still act surprised at how shit these teams of the season are for the top leagues solely based on statistic metrics which only tell a small part of the story.
Charles made a career off supporting the terrorist groups that coalesced into the current Syrian government, which has opened a wide door and turned a blind eye to the Israeli settler movement in Syria. Now he will feign concern as if this isn’t exactly what his bosses wanted
"All Sunni & Shia in the [area] will be expelled and destroyed until they're worthless, like dust on the ground..."
A good overview by @sijilsy of the Israeli settler movement "Pioneers of Bashan" that seeks to occupy & settle in SW #Syria.

Not shocked at the # of academics who, in the last week, have shared this sentiment. still, infuriating for PhD candidates, like myself, who are facing an increasingly abysmal job market while people like this continue to turn the profession into a grift
So this means you expect every author to check every citation and make sure that every citation is real and accurate? What if it's beyond the ability of one of the authors to verify one of the citations because that citation is in a language he doesn't know or concerns technical material he doesn't understand but another author on the paper does?
@Carefree_Jam I’m of the same opinion. Conf League was nice for the new “rebuild” squad a few years ago. But we won that. And now we’re back to what will be a legitimate cultural rebuild. Any European football is a distraction to that plan. Sucks to admit but We’re back to basics
In her foreword to the new book by FDD's token Arab, @hahussain, Morgan Ortagus explains that the Abraham Accords are about Palestinians and Arab states ceding their sovereignty to Israel. It's hard to be more explicit than this. Lebanese "sovereigntists" should take note.
@sionsonoist They’re all over Amman. Spent time at several Arabic institutes and centers and there was always a contingent. They also would try to “subtly” convert the Arabic instructors
