Reading this I came to a very important realization about the eagles, and maybe all organizations. Nick Sirianni isn’t perfect, neither is Jalen Hurts or Howie Roseman or any other part of this team. But the mix of all the players coach’s management and everything else is.
I’ve thought about this for years and I think the answer to the Nick Sirianni enigma is that “coach” is the wrong label for him.
He’s a program builder.
We know there are good coordinators or play callers who just can’t be good head coaches. Nick is kind of the other side of that coin.
Sirianni’s dad is a legendary high school football coach. His oldest brother has been the HC of a DIII football program for 23 years and has one of the best winning percentages of all time.
He went to Mount Union, where we won three national championships while playing for Larry Kehres, a coach who built a DYNASTY: 332-24-3 record (.929 winning %), 11 national titles, 23 conference titles, and 21 unbeaten seasons.
He came up surrounded by ELITE program builders. Guys who created lasting, sustainable cultures and processes.
It was high school and DIII, so not the NFL, but he came up under the best of best at what they do.
Nick’s players love him. He stresses fundamentals, turnovers, ball security, and the basics ad nauseam. His teams are always prepared. Much like Jalen Hurts, he doesn’t care what winning looks like.
He stresses competition but also understands the human element and connects with his players. When his captains came to him and told him in 2024 to lean on the running game because they felt they could dominate and wear down opponents while Saquon Barkley ran wild, he listened.
He’s gone to two Super Bowls with two different sets of coordinators, won one and damn near won the other one.
So while you can criticize his offense, it’s pretty clear he’s an elite program builder.
He’s not without his flaws, but I think he’s a good fit for an organization like the Eagles, who have an owner and GM who get it.
Darryl may not be a perfect coach. But I would take him as the #letsgoOilers Coach Every day of the Week before I would soend one moment being happy with Babcock in the organization
Frank Seravalli: Re Oilers coaching: If not Bruce Cassidy, if not Mike Babcock, [Peter Laviolette's] already gone, prepare yourself for the possibility of Darryl Sutter; you're gonna have to get creative now if you're the Oilers - Frankly Hockey (6/10)
#letsgoOilers fans are going to hate me, but the Oilers being embarrassed by the Ducks is the best thing that could happen to this team and organization. How can a team that has this many problems and had more LS then Ws think they could win a Stanley cup.
I mean the goaltending, the defense, the coaching, the management you name it. None of it is anywhere near good enough. Massive changes need to come this offseason.
@RobinPoedev You are entitled to believe that any change makes the games different and Nerrel’s stance makes him a hypocrite. But I believe that a faithful remake like RE1R or ZOOT3D are great ways to re experience the games with the original intent and emotion.
@RobinPoedev I agree that the difference in plot does make the original RE1 distinct from the remake. I believe what Nerrel is trying to say is that gameplay wise and graphically the game is a flat upgrade to the original without changing the gameplay or omitting sections of the game,

@RobinPoedev Re2 Remake doesn’t have the same gameplay style. Imagine if you start the game in a fixed camera angle and then walked into the next room and it was suddenly over the shoulder, it would be a little jarring. That’s why RE2 and RE2R are not the same experience in contrast to RE1
@TheRedGoner The developers also are using a camera similar to Mario 64. So they clearly respect Mario 64s design. Mario 64 levels are designed to take full advantage of the movement and abilities of Mario 64. Can the devs of Kero not make equally good levels based on their movement style?
@TheRedGoner I feel the discussion was far more focused on not directly copying Mario 64 for a modern release. Would you buy a game in 2026 and beyond that doesn’t have a consistent frame rate, has bad draw distance, and has to use bad LOD models. continued
@FoolishFool22@TheRedGoner Let’s begin with Nerrel himself never said that Mario 64 jumping is dated that was the developer, (yes you could interpret him agreeing with it by putting it in the video).but saying that he’s a hypocrite for disliking MM3D and disliking Mario 64 movement is a bit of a cold take
An MRI confirmed today that Aaron Rodgers officially tore his Achilles on the fourth play of his Jets’ career.
Rodgers’ season now, officially, is over. There already are questions about whether his Hall-of-Fame career is, too.
