@the_moral_abc Yeah, because with so many people like you in the world, a future where we can be in public without masks again is extremely unlikely. Gotta wait until you all are no longer around, then we can make progress.
mindblowing belief expressed here. the idea that cops care about sexual assault, especially given how many perpetrate it, is less grounded in reality than almost any myth of policing
they found her, her name, her address, etc. they went to her fucking home and intimidated her. if anything this is actually proof she was telling the truth.
On the *same day* the Cornell Seven drugged and raped Jane Doe, Cornell banned four students (including the President of Cornell @jvplive) from campus for three years for nonviolent, pro-Palestine protests. The same @Cornell officials let the rapists off with apology essays.
When someone is an asshole to disabled people in a bigoted way, they justify it by saying the people they abuse aren’t actually disabled and that they are protecting “actual disabled people.”
If all it takes for some ppl on the left to abandon a cause or marginalized group is a few ppl being too "weird" or "annoying"
then all the right has to do is run a few news segments going "Look at these FREAKS! Aren't they WEIRD?!" and ppl will rush to throw them under the bus
Brock Turner was found guilty of sexual assault & served 3 months,
Jesse Mack Butler pled guilty to raping & strangling two children… he got community service.
Robert Morris raped a 12 year old. He served 6 months.
Even when rapists are found guilty, they’re barely punished.
people who are right are also very often incredibly annoying and of you don't want to turn into a reactionary conservative you're going to need to make peace with this
“The dignified thing to do when you’re terminally ill or disabled is to apply for MAID.”
This is coercion. The phrase “Dying with dignity” is coercion.
Special shoutout to the friends and family of the Cornell 7 who stand by them, as well as to the future spouses who will forgive them and allow these men into their lives and hearts despite knowing better: You can all go to hell too
fraternities exist to train young men into being willing to do *anything* to be a part of the in group. to accept any kind of abuse if the abuse is coming from a position of power. the humiliation rituals are the entire point
I took 24 aleve a day for 22 years before doctors finally got it right that the herniated disc they thought I had was a spinal tumor and that my being overweight had nothing to do with it vs. blaming me for wanting to be in pain and overweight and not giving me anything for pain.
Doctor: you shouldn’t take Ibuprofen everyday. It can damage your liver.
Patient: Okay, can I get a medication for the pain that doesn’t harm my liver?
Doctor: HahahahahahHha oh dear God no.
@socialistadri Just another Obama or AOC, become the bus driver, convince almost leftists to climb aboard, and drive that bus over the cliff back into VBNMW liberalism to stop any actual momentum of change. Wait a bit, find a new bus driver, do it all again.
The seven rapists from Cornell University should have their lives so thoroughly and permanently ruined that they never know peace, redemption, or any sort of satisfaction. The rape is irredeemable, so is the group chat, so is Cornell for giving them "essays" as faux punishment
