A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labour and his leisure; his education and his recreation. GO.
@kofinas I'd be curious to hear Jonathan Rauch's take on it given the context of his last book and beliefs about how knowledge is shaped by public institutions
@Noahpinion I'd definitely like to see more polling/anecdotes about this, because the theory seems so at odds with the experience on the ground. I don't know of any employer offering salary increases meant to keep up with to inflation - certainly not to their own staff (maybe new hires)
The steady drumbeat of cases, coupled w/ CDCβs finding that 60% of Americans have had Covid https://t.co/bzq85OuIcT, naturally raises the inevitability question: Are we all destined to get Covid? And, is it worth remaining careful?
Iβll address these questions in this π§΅. (1/25)
Good Morning Ontario,
Today marks an important milestone in our fight with COVID. Thanks to your hard work, sacrifice and willingness to rise to the occasion, Ontario is now at a place where we can safely remove the mask mandate in most settings. Please be kind, safe & cautious.
@AlanLevinovitz That's a solid list of needs, but I'm afraid it leaves out needs that are undefined or nonsensical. Hard to compete with misinformation when it can make promises not bound by reality
