The observation is damning!
Highest church attendance.
Lowest development indicators.
Most fervent prayer.
Most persistent poverty.
Loudest worship.
Quietest extraction.
While congregations sang, contracts were signed. While altars burned incense, oil wells were drilled. While pastors collected tithes, multinationals collected royalties.
Religion didn't fail Africa accidentally. It was deployed precisely to occupy the mental and temporal space where resistance, organization, and self-determination would otherwise grow.
The problem isn't faith itself. It's faith weaponized as substitute for action by convincing the most resource-rich continent on earth that their liberation requires supernatural intervention rather than the political organization, economic sovereignty, and psychological decolonization that actually delivers it.
I took a solemn oath to defend the constitution. Public participation is a constitutional dictate. Some of you sound like you took oath to defend mediocrity and ignorance. Any action, however well-intended, that violates the constitution, ends up in a catostrophy for the people.
Free advice to Ruto and his people. Pause, take a month and do public participation with the People of Lamu on the Dangote Oil Refinery. If you don't act accordingly within a week, I will Petition the High Court to stop the planned construction. Be advised.
Mental colonisation is powerful because it convinces the oppressed to protect the very systems that disconnected them from themselves. That is why generations later, many Afrikans still seek validation from outside the continent before valuing what already exists within it. A tree cut from its roots may survive briefly, but eventually it weakens from the inside.
It's quite worrying that @DTBKenya might become home&a place of nasty customer experiences unlike it's known past . Avoid frustration by paying merchant/mpesa transactions from their app&you beg them a whole day&the next for your transaction text!Pathetic Customer care & @DTBduo
In Burkina Faso, the government has brought together more than 1,000 traditional herbalists as part of efforts to modernize the country’s traditional medicine sector.
The government believes many herbalists hold generations of knowledge about medicinal plants that deserves proper scientific research and testing.
Instead of letting that knowledge disappear, they want to study it, improve it, and see what can be produced safely on a larger scale.
Remember, long before modern hospitals, many African communities relied on traditional medicine for generations.
Dear Kenyans;
When you look around the country, do you see 13 trillion worth of investment?
Heck do you even see 6 trillion worth of investment?
Kenya's debt is trumped up, a fugazi, a con, fake, ODIOUS.
You are silently participating in your enslavement.
Get up off your knees let's get free.
@nziokamul1 Yes hapa eldoret kina murkomeno and sudi's are building skyscrapers on a monthly basis, even the KPA director who almost went to sayuni recently has two 5 storey buildings almost on completion. >
This is so sad!! 💔
In July 2023 while in Grade 4, Benaiah Mwendwa reported to school like he always did. As he was going through his day, it is alleged that he was slapped more than seven times consecutively by a teacher at Nyali School for playing in class. This allegedly led to internal bleeding in the middle ear, and since then, Benaiah’s life has never been the same.
Benaiah has been battling a severe illness involving multiple inner ear and nerve complications, resulting in constant pain, facial paralysis, loss of balance, and complete hearing loss in both ears. As you can see, a child who was born healthy is currently experiencing stroke-like symptoms.
He has been treated by a multidisciplinary team of doctors, including ENT specialists and surgeons, neurosurgeons, neurologists, physicians, pediatricians, physiotherapists, and rheumatologists from various hospitals, including The Nairobi Hospital, Aga Khan, Gertrude’s, Pandya Hospital, Jocham Hospital, Nairobi West, Nyali Children’s Hospital, as well as multiple consultants in their private clinics, but his condition remains unresolved.
This has affected his education, social life, and hobbies, and he is also dealing with psychological trauma. He is currently undergoing therapy and the family is hoping for the best. The family has since moved to court to seek justice, but as we all know, the justice process can be slow.
The longer they wait, the more his condition worsens. The family is humbly seeking financial support to enable him to receive specialized treatment in India and, hopefully, restore his health, at an estimated cost of KSh 1.5 million. The anticipated travel date is 5th August 2026.
Your contribution will bring hope to Benaiah and his family. Kindly channel your support through:

Easiest way to Install Stremio Add-ons from Your Phone & Have Them Sync to Your TV 🧵
Don’t forget to follow for more tips
Most people don’t realize you only need to set up Stremio once. If you’re signed into the same account, your add-ons, library, and watch history automatically sync across your supported devices. (https://t.co/dPSdbSqDWh)
1/ Install Stremio on your Android phone and Android TV (or another supported TV platform), then sign in with the same account on both devices. Guest mode won’t sync your configuration. (https://t.co/odeeEmOlZp)
2/ Open your phone and visit:
https://t.co/Dwx5BRzRIP
Most community add-ons are configured through a web page. Once you tap Install, Stremio opens and saves that add-on to your account. (https://t.co/dPSdbSqDWh)
3/ After installation, simply open Stremio on your TV while logged into the same account. Your installed add-ons, library, and preferences are retrieved from your account, so you don’t have to repeat the setup on every device. (https://t.co/odeeEmOlZp)
4/ Popular add-ons you’ll come across include:
• Torrentio
• MediaFusion
• Comet
• Orion
• Jackett
• Annatar
• Debridio
• EasyNews
• Trakt
• RPDB (Rating Poster Database)
Each serves a different purpose, such as metadata, library syncing, ratings, or integrating with external services.
5/ Some add-ons require configuration before installation. They generate a custom manifest that is then added to your Stremio account. Once installed, that configuration also syncs with your account. (https://t.co/dPSdbSqDWh)
6/ Why does streaming speed vary?
Many add-ons can present multiple playback options. Depending on the source, the performance you experience may differ.
7/ One factor people often notice is the number of peers shown for some sources.
A peer is another device in the network sharing pieces of the same file. More available peers generally means there are more upload sources, which can improve download speed and playback stability. Fewer peers can result in slower starts or buffering. Network quality, bandwidth, and the health of the source also affect performance.
8/ That’s why, when several playback options are available, users often prefer those with more active peers—they’re more likely to start quickly and stream smoothly.
9/ If your TV doesn’t immediately reflect recent changes, first confirm you’re signed into the same Stremio account. In some cases, restarting the app or refreshing the session helps the latest account configuration appear. (Reddit)
10/ Once you understand that your Stremio account is the hub, setup becomes simple: install and configure add-ons once on your phone, then let your account keep supported devices in sync automatically. (https://t.co/odeeEmOlZp)
If you put KES 1 million in a fixed deposit earning 10%, you'd make KES 100,000 in a year. If you invested the same amount in Safaricom at KES 29.10 on 7 Jan 2026, you'd earn KES 68,728 in dividends.
At first glance, fixed income seems to win. But does it? Let's see....🧵
One day, I was in a boda boda stage and I heard them talking about the Public debts.
I listened then I interrupted and asked them a very simple question.
" Nyinyi kama bodaboda, si mko na SACCO?"
They said yes.
" Na kwa hii SACCO yenu, si mko na chairman, Deputy Chairman na Treasurer?"
They said yes and I went on.
" Now imagine your Chairman, his Deputy and the Treasurer waamue saa hii waende Equity Bank, wachukue loan na jina ya SACCO thirty million bila kuwauliza, alafu hiyo pesa iende kwa accounts zao watumie kwa matumizi yao ya kibinafsi, then one day Equity Bank comes to you SACCO members that you have a loan to pay. You never consented, you never saw the money, do you allow your contributions to be used in paying that loan?"
MAJAMAA waliruka bwana, " hiyo hatuwezi bwana. John ( SACCO chairman) mkijaribu hiyo tunawaua."
Thereafter, I told them that that is the situation we are in as a country.
A situation where we are being overtaxed to pay debts we never incurred.

My kid-bro received a text message purportedly from @ntsa_kenya for overspending … As a dutiful citizen, he paid the fine to the account at @KCBInKenya given by NTSA .. The account is in the name of CATHERINE JERONO TOMNO …. The law doesn’t allow Government institutions to open bank accounts in the names of individuals. Is NTSA exempt?
