@sainsburys just refused to sell flowers to me and another customer as they were past their sell by date. Perfectly fine, in bloom. They threw them in the bin, said head office say they can’t sell them. What a waste. Can you do better? Donate to local cause if you can’t sell?

@Siobhain_Mc @UKLabour She was phenomenal. I was lucky enough to work with her early on in my career and her approach has stayed with me throughout. She showed me a different style of women in the workplace and I’ve often had moments where I’d think “what would Margaret do?” A huge loss.

The kids think they are on holiday. They have engaged in so much learning in the last two days: geology/geography, industrial landscapes, ornithology, intergenerational relationships and most importantly our connections with the natural world. Maybe not map reading as yet.
