@AdwaDefStrategy She is among the leaders who have remained silent while the ongoing genocide and war against the Amhara and Tigray has been waged. The Ethiopian people must hold her accountable, not some other power that grants her immunity.
Palestinian activist Abdullah Shatat collapsed moments after his release from an Israeli jail, where he was held 32 months without charge or trial. He says prisoners are starved, tortured and denied treatment as thousands of Palestinians remain jailed.
Dictators do not fear elections—they fear free elections.
When people are afraid to speak, journalists are silenced, opposition figures are imprisoned, and entire regions are consumed by conflict, the ballot box becomes a tool of power, not a voice of the people.

Ethiopia on the Cliff: The Urgent Need for New Leadership!
Under Abiy Ahmed’s leadership, Ethiopia is on the cliff. Persistent repression, unresolved conflicts in Amhara and other regions, and the erosion of democratic space have brought the country to the brink of deeper crisis and potential collapse.
New leadership committed to inclusive national dialogue, genuine peace, and accountable governance is now an urgent necessity to pull Ethiopia back from disaster.
The international community must pay close attention. Ethiopia’s instability threatens the entire Horn of Africa with wider conflict, mass displacement, and security vacuums. Targeted pressure for reform, human rights accountability, and support for a credible political transition are essential before the situation becomes irreversible.

@USEmbassyAddis USA: Stop glossing over the ongoing genocide & war against the Amhara in Ethiopia by calling it an “internal matter” & remaining silent about it
The war, the genocide, & the systematic persecution continue while the world looks the other way. Silence does not protect the victims!

2/2 ...you for 3 yrs, they’ve been bombing you you and all your friends and family members in the region & now you’re dead. The killing continues!
Put an end to the ongoing genocide & the war against the Amhara ppl. in Ethiopia!
@LeyatHona23@HRF@ECLJ_Official@EUinEthiopia 1/2 I feel sorry for all the ppl you left behind. Your parents wanted you to grow up in safety & do something good for yourself, your family, & your country, but the fascist regime denied you all of that; because you are an Amhara, it persecuted.
ETHIOPIA ― Addis Ababa isn’t just the sleek downtown built up in recent years by UAE money, there’s another side to the city, the everyday city, full of neighborhoods, that visitors never see up close.

The Double Silence: The International Community’s Failure to Condemn Evil and the Silent Suffering of the Amhara People in Ethiopia - A Call to Action!
The international community must end its silence and condemn the evil against the Amhara people in Ethiopia. Their silent suffering from mass atrocities, displacement, and deprivation requires urgent global action and accountability.
I urge the @UN, @StateDept, @EU_Commission and all governments committed to human rights to immediately launch an independent international investigation into the atrocities in Amhara, expand Global #Magnitsky sanctions against those responsible, and condition all assistance on verifiable civilian protection and accountability.
Silence enables evil.
