@OoeyGooee Happy Birthday! ๐๐ How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie pop? Hope you enjoyed your day, and that you will enjoy the rest of the week!

@AgentDeli From my view on the outside looking in, they don't want to have to pay for the talents. I feel like A.I will try to be used to replace, and it will fail imo. They just see numbers, but it's more than that, you need to invest and show belief in people, it really matters.
๐ Every donation, no matter the size, helps us create opportunities, strengthen our programs & invest in our people. Your generosity allows us to continue building a community where learning and access is possible.

The United Videogame Workers union (UVW-CWA) has created a hardship fund for industry workers affected by layoffs in the United States and Canada
https://t.co/scFri4CzJK
We need to remind the entire gaming industry of something crucial today: we are not in a state of normal.
This cycle of mass layoffs is anxiety inducing trauma, and you are simply witnessing it first hand. I only hope those who look back and write about this do so with accuracy. It is not "just a transition," and it should never feel like this is the way it should be.
Teams are losing brilliant minds, but make no mistake: the value of the skills built within gaming. From building the very essence and depth of community, operations, world building, and complex problem solving is unmatched. We will all go on to have a notable, massive impact across many different industries. It doesn't change the madness earned during our time.
Don't take this lightly.
Look out for each other today. If you've been affected, even though I'm looking too, please let me know where I can be of service.
Please consider helping our friend Max's family out with funeral costs and etc.
Even if you cannot donate, consider rt'ing to boost please.
Thank you.

@TheVideoGamHer For by Xbox, not Capcom. The service did not reach the 70 plus million subscribers they were expecting. They took a chance, but not the end results they wanted. I would also say since you can still buy games on there, it would be different if you could only subscribe and not own
@TheVideoGamHer The one thing that kept them in business, did not killed them. There would be no Xbox now if not for that service, nor the investments in all the the studio's and games they paid for. They paid for a Capcom game development to be on it, think about that. Funitsu Gaming was paid
@epictreasure1@asha_shar That was not my point, I also said nothing about Asha decisions. I said the CEO of Microsoft, who is still in charge of everything, those were his decisions across Microsoft as a whole. Gaming was not solely affected, it will continue to be what they want at the end of the day.
@epictreasure1@asha_shar This is not new, the previous structure came from the top. It was the ceo's position for Microsoft overall, and everyone had to fall into place. These companies keep on expecting record profits every year, and job cuts have come after each record breaking announcement.
