@TomShanklin Inconsistency in officiating and TMO calls is literally killing the game. The ‘forward pass’ aside, the 2 deliberate knock ons not carded. Will always happily concede to losing to a better team but when it’s down to poor decisions it’s a tough take
@ZapPiglet@RhiRhiOnRugby@OspreysPodcast I’ve seen many a flat pass allowed in try scoring situations, many that were actually blatantly forward. Inconsistency in officiating is what is killing the game. If it quacks like a duck…
@Dunleavb@simonrug That’s fair enough mate. At least one one of the deliberate knock ons if not both both would have been yellow carded in most games but appreciate you won’t know if not seen them
@Dunleavb@simonrug The ball clearly goes forward, but not forward out of the hands for me, marginal and many a try I’ve seen allowed to stand. The two deliberate knock ons not carded, one especially when we have forward momentum were ‘strange’ decisions too!
@Dunleavb@simonrug It’s not like the TMO has a history of dishonesty.

Honestly, I’m happy to have been beating by a better team on the day. But dodgy decisions, hmmm….
@atjames88@simonrug Not clearly forward, clearly controversial. Most 50:50 calls like that don’t even make it to TMO if the ref is competent/confident in his/her ability. Should we mention 2 deliberate knock ons that even carded. Some kind of consistency of reffing is surely something we all crave..
