@jibduluc@NairoInGreen Most of it was that Pogacar had to attack the cobbles and so was in a position to risk a crash. Short of a cramp, MVDP wins in the velodrome so Pogacar had to put him under pressure.
@taggartvanetten@chriswoods Take this argument a step further. I can race 2-3 marathons a year, but can only race an Ironman once every year or two
Its mostly the time commitment for training (family, work) than it is to build and recover from the actual race itself.
@stevemagness Nothing says that someone lacks a sense of self more than forcing employees to work though the night because Musk was jealous that Biden got more tweet views about the Superbowl. He really is just filling the void.

@sweatscience@DerekGriffin86 I'd wager that there's a significant cohort of people for whom the reason they don't run more kms is that they feel they're maxed out, but if they just slowed down they could do more.
The slower cohort is doing a very high % of volume as intensity
@RaniBaghezza@Qagggy My point was that SimCity originally include parking lots in its city design because they would have consumed too much space
They literally couldn't make car-dependent cities with enough parking without making their game look like trash so they just left them out
