@PhysInHistory The experiment that proved them right was run by Chien-Shiung Wu, with cobalt-60 cooled close to absolute zero at the US National Bureau of Standards in December 1956. Yang and Lee got the 1957 Nobel. Wu didn't.

Thank you Dhirubhai and Mukesh Ambani. Thank you to IOCL, HPCL and BPCL etc. Thank you to all engineers who worked on some of the most complex refineries in the world. While the world faces terrible diesel crack spreads, we earn valuable foreign exchange thanks to our refineries.

Why is there a statue of the Hindu god Shiva outside CERN? 🚩
The Nataraja statue depicts the cosmic dance that symbolizes the endless cycle of creation and destruction keeping the universe in motion.
For particle physicists, that metaphor is literal: they smash particles apart to understand how the universe was created in the first place - destruction to reveal creation.
It’s a more than 10000-year-old Sanatan idea standing outside the world's premier physics lab, exploring the very same cosmic loop with math instead of myth.
No other civilization was as advanced as Indian civilization in the history of Earth. 🕉️

India is set to conduct its first hyperloop freight trial in Mumbai, where the state-owned Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) will test moving a fully loaded shipping container using indigenous technology developed by IIT Madras Incubated TuTr Hyperloop
India has jumped from 7th to 3rd globally in Stanford’s AI Vibrancy ranking.
With its vast tech talent pool, can India turn its AI talent into world-class AI companies and products?
🚨IMF data shows India contributing 17% of global GDP growth in 2026, ahead of the US at 9.9%.
China is first at 26.6%.
Together, India and China drive 43.6% of world growth.
In 5 to 7 years India is going to be the world's largest buyer of oil & gas. Only the hyper mullahs without oil & gas like Turkiye & Pakistan can afford to openly poke India. The ones in far east need India to buy their cooking oils.
Also an Indian naval & air blockade in the Arabian Sea will paralyze both Hormuz & Gulf of Oman. So, if the ones that have oil & gas refuse to sell to India then they sell only to the fukkin fishes 🐟!😜
🚨Canada Choose India over US, on Largest Ever Trade Mission to Sign Massive $70 Billion FTA with India
In a major shift, Canada has brought its largest-ever trade delegation to India in nearly three decades, with more than 300 business leaders arriving to explore new partnerships and accelerate negotiations for a proposed Free Trade Agreement.
The target is massive, expanding bilateral trade from around $30 billion to approximately $70 billion.
This is not happening in isolation.
For decades, the United States has been Canada's overwhelmingly dominant trading partner, absorbing roughly three-quarters of Canadian exports. But growing uncertainty around US trade policy and tariffs has forced Ottawa to rethink its dependence on a single market.
And India has emerged as one of the most important alternatives.
Canada is now looking toward India's enormous consumer market, rapidly expanding economy, manufacturing capacity and growing demand for energy, technology and critical resources.
The sectors involved could be strategically important: pharmaceuticals, agriculture, textiles, engineering, clean technology, aerospace, energy and critical minerals.
Nuclear cooperation adds another layer. Canada is a major source of uranium, while India's nuclear-power expansion is accelerating. Stronger energy ties could therefore serve both countries' long-term strategic interests.
For Canada, India represents diversification away from excessive dependence on Washington.
For India, Canada offers access to a developed Western market, energy resources, uranium, critical minerals, investment and technology.
The headline may be about a $70 billion trade target, but the larger story is about a changing global economic map.
