@andrewjones004 That’s ideal but I’m not as thorough. Generally put them in around lunch time so they go in full and take them out when I knock off. Sometimes they might stay in if I don’t get back there. I think just if you give their gut a bit of a spell a few times they’re right.

Collecting plant samples on some sorghum in Manypeaks, checking Prussic Acid and Nitrate levels before cattle come in for grazing. Part of an MLA PDS Alternate Forage Crops project. Some great clover and ryegrass under it as well.

@bromeo82 @summitagconsult @PacificSeeds Yeah for the 9 weeks they were in there they averaged 1kg/day which was very good considering it was jan/feb, very dry and the leaves were purple and sad looking

137 steers taken out of a 6ha trial of #raphno after 19 days. 200kgs of NKS21 and 82mm of rain over 5 weeks. Photos taken at one week intervals. 700 lambs going in this week for its 5th grazing.
