I spent days building out the most important behavioural models to know as an online coach..
Then I spent 27 mins discussing my findings:
Check it out: https://t.co/PfJIytMwLu
@TrillionMindX@joshdgavin Majority of info funnels I see nowadays are largely homogenous
That’s not to say that there are not exceptions, which you rightly point out
But the point is they’re exceptions - you don’t see them nearly as regularly as with an ecom funnel
Turns out @joshdgavin was right the whole time…
He recently made a video explaining that the marketing in the info space is significantly worse than the marketing in the ecom space
He made this argument that:
Info = sales first organisations
Ecom = marketing first organisations
Some flamed him for it, but look at what Iman Gadzhi’s Monetise recently put out..
An advertorial style ad - a staple in ecom, but rarely ever seen w/ info
There’s a shift happening in the space
And there’s a new requirement to be able to learn from outside your industry and apply its principles
Iman Gadzhi is testing a new kind of landing page for his challenge.
It looks like an ecom advertorial, not an info funnel.
1/ Dressed up as a https://t.co/a8XupOpBG3 article
2/ Opens with money pain (the “$535K retirement gap”), not a guru
3/ Iman’s name only shows up halfway down
4/ Higgsfield is the “why now”
5/ Proof from past events: $8.9M → $15M → $31.7M → $41M
Cartoon ad → fake article → challenge page.
Ecom brands have run this playbook for years.
Now the info space is catching up.

Idk whos gonna tell you this but im going to tell you the truth about the online space and social media so that you know what to look out for and how to navigate it
The way that people thrive on social media is by picking one mantra that they subscribe to, one niche, one way of doing things, and living by it to the bone. They will go to the sword for their opinions, because these viewpoints and methods make up their edge, or what we call in marketing, their unique mechanism
You need a unique mechanism to stand out, but there’s one problem
If everyone has a unique mechanism which they believe is right, who is actually telling the truth?
I’ve been through it myself, I’ve seen how confusing it can be to watch one video, agree with what it has to say, scroll, and then see a video saying that the first video was lying to you
You don’t know who to trust, you don’t know who to believe, and you don’t know, fundamentally, what to do to get to the next level
And so my advice would be to put your head down, pick a lane and stick to it. Run your own race. Learn how to use calculated exposure so you don’t overthink yourself into stagnation
Stick at it for long enough and when you look up, you’ll see that you’ve carved out something for yourself that you never thought possible
