@bibianaprinoth trying to calibrate a bandpass (radio) using Jupiter and taking one hour while hitting limit switches to realise we forgot a minus sign and Jupiter was 45 degrees below the horizon and not 45 degrees above it. So the Earth was in the way ;-)

@drannawatts I am bit conflicted. I've also seen a lot of peers with much more talent for languages than STEM and vice-versa. They still need to do both. Shouldn't effort and enthusiasm count for PE grades much more than actual results(?). Not sure if this is the case though.
@Harcel@ivbemmel Ah I see, yes, but they use 'onlangs' which is my confusion, which means he perhaps hadn't been convicted yet when he started (but already suspended, which is worrying in itself). In that case you can get the VOG.
