Closure of native forest harvesting loses:
- bacteria free saw dust used by the broiler industry,
- residual forest material to provide biomass,
- sustainably harvested firewood,
- renewable heat energy source from biomass,
- generational knowledge
- connection with the bush

Dan-made disaster cynically announced on budget day without telling unions or owners. In 15 years as MP I’ve never been more disgusted with a decision than today’s announcement Victoria will ban all native timber harvesting in 2024. A plan to kill country towns. @michael47818552
