@glazeapp is fun!
A few years ago, I hacked together a little soundboard app for ambient sounds.
Glaze recreated it in a few minutes. And it is already so much better
This is a long one, but maybe it helps:
The desktop apps always felt limiting to me. There was always something missing. Like no real IDE, no good diff tool or no split view for agents, etc. Or they are just slow and laggy.
And with no extension support, I have to wait until upstream added feature x.
Also I don't like the layout of them and I can't customize it.
Currently I just use the terminal because that allows me to customize my environment to my linking. I can switch tools whenever I want, build my own ones and use the whole setup over ssh.
And with cmux I can just use the layout I want in any given situation.
But this is all not perfect and I see how the user experience of a chat GUI can be way better than a CLI one.
@kepano@obsdmd I've built a custom bases view to filter and display contents of notes in bases.
Like todos, present ideas or things I want to watch later.
E.g. I add a line to a daily note with #idea and it appears in my idea view for future projects.
