@elonmusk If he had won the democratic primary he would be first. If he had won the Republican primary he would be second, if he had won the working families nomination he would be in that column. Too bad he didn’t do any of those things. I guess his negative ads just didn’t work.
No briefing. No evidence. No names.
Just people blown up in the Caribbean and called “drug dealers.” That’s not law enforcement. That’s extrajudicial killing.
The Constitution says only Congress can declare war. Until then, these strikes are as wrong as what China or Iran does.
@mattconvente@DawnBaggett5 It definitely carries enormous downside risk. It also presents a massive learning opportunity to the progressive left on executive governance for a massive machine that is about ALL not just a segment. Here’s hoping the challenge is well embraced.
Donald Trump wants us to be afraid, he wants us to cower, he wants us to be silent.
But we have to use our voices.
To the people in Los Angeles and throughout the country who are peacefully protesting, keep protesting peacefully. Don’t give Donald Trump what he wants. Use your voice and join me in standing up to this administration's unprecedented overreach and abuse of power.
Tail of two companies. @Delta has a delay causing me to miss my connection, gate agent is so friendly and offers a different root. Delta offers to reimburse any extra expenses. @Uber gets stuck in freeway closure. 6x the price of my ride. no recourse. zero customer service.
@AndrewYang All the people in the movement should be taking over the existing ones. There is literally no opposition at the local levels (which is where you can take over)
@QuintonLucasKC Bylaws updates to ensure primaries are competitive. Funding to local and statewide caucuses and councils. Staff the caucuses and councils with paid staff. Focus on state Supreme Court and state legislature races. Focus on leadership development.
@daveweisberger@AndrewYang Indeed, rebuilding power to flow from the bottom layer is how we make them listen but yes, that is a heavy left because it’s not the current structure or flow of power. And the flow of money to national orgs that don’t invest locally is a huge driver, not merely billionaires.
@daveweisberger@AndrewYang The hollowing out of the base / county level of the party is what enabled that group think to occur. Money flowing to the top created an echo chamber without an accountability rooted in a geographic distribution to constituents across the country. It’s a fixable accident.
@JasmineForUS My friend from Rootscamp went to CPAC where there were chanting down with liberalism. And it all made sense. The American Taliban is taking over.
Senate Republicans just launched an all-night voting spree to rip apart Medicaid and starve kids—all so they can hand more cash to billionaires like Elon Musk. They’re doing this while most people aren’t watching. Absolutely disgraceful.
