@lukejsherlock Having grown up down the road from the priory, dusk walks there are something of true beauty (the sunsets are increíble). And you’re reading one of my all time favourite books, you are living the dream (or at least my dream haha)!
@EAUKnews I was worried to look at the replies… but I needn’t be! Pleased to see that Christian’s aren’t falling for the populist propoganda of the EA. Conversion therapy is evil. Churches should have nothing to do with it. The UK has excellent FoRB guidelines and law. Stop backing abuse.
@RestIsPolitics Personally it has to be my local result! Dunstable and Leighton Buzard, Labour Alex Mayer overturning an 18,500 conservative majority to win for the first time since 1970! (And with a high 73% turnout)
@WalkerMarcus If you wanna see an intro to the work of our charity and see a bit of what I mean, feel free to make a cuppa and watch this.

@WalkerMarcus But, it can (and needs) to be done. There’s a creation narrative needed to approach it, both ‘forming’ and ‘filling’. So often we priorities the filling, setting up community groups, planting churches, fun days… but we need to be involved in the forming too.
@WalkerMarcus Be part of the planning processes. Connect with land owners, planners, councils, developers. Shape policy and plans. And, increasingly step up to deliver the infrastructure which is rarely seen as profitable, but has priceless social value.

Last year we welcomed @WR_Photography to #BidwellWest to film a case study of community development, championing the amazing cross sector partnerships we’ve invested in here. Why not take a look?

@secraney @BethjAllison@GeoffColmer I’m all for the blessing of #unexpectedcake. Yet to register for assembly, but to possibility of a baptist bake-off is drawing me in!
Once again @_F_B_G_ writing entertains, provokes and inspires. An excellent article exploring hospitality and the church. In my recent chapter on disruptive cake I wrote about hospitality as a subversive act of justice. Here’s to more quiche, cake and tea https://t.co/ALFK23slxs
@AndyFitchet I got ID’d yesterday for trying to buy peppermint essence for baking a birthday cake… no wallet on me, went back, got the cheap stuff, mission successful.
This is the most eloquent argument against Christofascism (Christian nationalism) I've ever heard. This impressive young man's name is James Talarico and he represents the state of Texas. He is the future of the Democratic Party. #Christofascism#ChristianNationalism
@NatashaHodgson Well, after coming last year I brought five friends this evening and we all LOVED it. Especially the beautiful barmaid on stage 👀😆
Only a few months till my next visit, that time bringing friends who are flying specially from Melbourne, Australia! Bloody brilliant
