@GabrielBauman Familiar! Mid 80s dad waited 8 hrs in waiting room chair on 1st ER visit. Diagnosed pulmonary embolisms. Sent home. 15 hrs later severe chest pain. Waited approx 2 hrs 4. Got ER bed; admitted to ward after 18 hrs. REPEAT visit 2 wks- 9 hrs in wait room chair! System broken!

@tledain @PassportCan 3 wks ago friend asked 4 file transfer. She didn’t recv confirmation of accepted transfer. 1 day b4 flight, she went to office, bypassed line by saying she was there to pickup. Unfortunately passport wasn’t printed. She was able to wait & it was printed on the spot. Stressful!

@huyong0521 @AK100488 @PassportCan My file was, thankfully, transferred. I was able to pick up at office. Some pple have posted here that they requested transfer but weren’t able to get pport bec. file wasn’t transferred to local specialized office. I was not charged additional fees:

@jendoddphoto @polkadotspizza @PassportCan 1/ Applied at SC on 4/25. Transfer requested 7/12 for 7/27 travel. Heard nothing,so visited specialized office 7/25. Triaged to 48 hr holding. After 5 hrs told to come back 7/26 at 8:30 am for appt. Before leaving explained I had req transfer & needed to know if it was accepted

@zamlos @PassportCan I think that’s incorrect. Friend applied at service Canada end of April. Requested transfer 2 wks ago for travel 7/29. No call rec’d. Went to specialized office 7/28 no passport printed. Asked to wait with several others & pport printed on the spot.

@sbzurock @PassportCan /3 transfer was received. 10 minutes later he returned with the good news that the file was in their office and I needed to return at 8:30 next day. In the meantime, I received call & told pport being printed locally & pick up at 1.
