@realcavsfans You can’t replace Allen. Use Strus to get a true starting sf. Commit to Tyson as 1 or 2 off the bench. Retain Wade as that extra 3/4. And get a true backup center (stretch 5 or someone with edge). Then decide between schroder/proctor/porter, who is the true back up or go get one
This Spring, Josh Tinkham (@Tink830), Adjunct Professor in Systematic Theology, taught Bibliology and Symbolics, a course that examines the Second London Confession of Faith from historical, philosophical, and systematic perspectives.
Regarding this class, he shared, “As important as or even more important than a church having a confession, such as the Second London Confession, is the way in which it subscribes to it. Certain modes of subscription witness to whether a church merely assents to the confession when convenient or if it is a rule that orders and governs a church under the ultimate rule, Holy Scripture.”

@realcavsfans I may sound crazy, but I think we want Duncan playing to hunt that matchup. It felt like they had more defensive minded players without him.
@realcavsfans Are we at the point we can say tha scroder has done more in the playoffs than either Okoro or Jerome last playoffs? Also, my constant Tyson as stating sf is becoming more evident?
This Spring, Jacob Trotter, Assistant Professor of Historical Theology, is teaching a class on Church History: Middle Ages. This course is an investigation of the main theological issues, theologians, and movements in the Middle Ages. It covers the period from the seventh to the fifteenth century and lays a foundation for understanding early modern and modern Christian thought.
Regarding this course, Trotter said, “We know that Christ builds His church (Matt. 16:18) and that He has given teachers for the edification of the church (Eph. 4:11–12). So when we study church history, we are really just admiring the handiwork of Christ through His chosen vessels.”

@jonathanramont@RefBooksOnline Many prot’s just assume McDonald’s interpretation of Owen to be correct (ie, a christological bv). In a new Owen book coming out, I push back on this.
@jonathanramont@RefBooksOnline But it hath such an immediate connection with it, and subordination unto it, as that without it we can never behold the face of God as the objective blessedness of our souls.” He also affirms that his position agrees with scholastics but that he is writing to a lower audience
@jstephentrotter Why individual and essence missing? Is the rejection of eternal generation in that context wherein the persons are conceived of as persons emanating from a common essence playing in? Ie, too much of a real distinction between essence and person?
