Love it. Things could be adjusted to really make this process secure from third party influence but it is a start. You can still ADB your unsigned apps if you really wanted to, though at this point a dev account is pretty cheap and not really worth skipping past.

If it means our parents are less likely to become victims to a sideloaded app I'm all for it. Those of us who make apps can work around it.

Hot take re: Android side loading changes. The *ONE-TIME* 24 wait period is not a big deal. Literally sideload something the day they make the change, set it to always allow side loading, and forget this was ever an issue in 24 hours.
