आप IIT मद्रास से कंप्यूटर साइंस ग्रेजुएट थे। MIT ने स्कॉलरशिप ऑफर की। लेकिन आपने ठुकरा दी। आपने कहा — IIT की पढ़ाई गरीब भारतीयों के टैक्स से हुई है, अब देश को लौटाना मेरा कर्तव्य है।

फिर आपने IAS जॉइन किया।

पहली पोस्टिंग में एक बिल्डर धान के खेत को भरना चाहता था। 60 गरीब परिवारों ने कहा इससे उनका इलाका डूब जाएगा। आपने अनुमति नहीं दी। आपका ट्रांसफर हो गया।

केरल के PWD मंत्री के बच्चों के अवैध जमीन सौदे उजागर किए। मंत्री को इस्तीफा देना पड़ा। आपका ट्रांसफर हो गया।

Coconut Development Board में भ्रष्टाचार पकड़ा। अफसर सस्पेंड हुए। आपका ट्रांसफर हो गया।

सिविल सप्लाई विभाग में भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ कार्रवाई शुरू की। जांच पूरी होने से पहले हटा दिए गए।

34 साल की सेवा में 32 ट्रांसफर।

एक बार आपने सरकार को चिट्ठी लिखकर पूछा “जब मुझे कोई काम ही नहीं दिया जा रहा, तो मुझे वेतन क्यों दिया जा रहा है?”

2025 में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने उनकी Chief Secretary पदोन्नति की याचिका खारिज कर दी।
AIR 1 होने के बावजूद।
30 साल की ईमानदार सेवा के बावजूद।

उन्होंने 34 किताबें भी लिखीं। साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार जीता। कानून में PhD की।

MIT उन्हें अमेरिका देना चाहता था।
उन्होंने भारत के लोगों को चुना।

लेकिन भारत की व्यवस्था ने उन्हें 34 साल तक सिर्फ एक संदेश दिया

“ईमानदारी की कीमत सब कुछ खोकर चुकानी पड़ती है।”

और उन्होंने हर बार वो कीमत चुकाई।

ऐसी कहानियों के लिए फॉलो करें, जिन्हें भारत की सुर्खियाँ कभी जगह नहीं देतीं।

When Bankers Were Dying in Silence, One MP Spoke in Parliament

Yesterday when @AARahimdyfi raised the issue of bankers in Parliament, it did not feel like a politician speaking.
It felt like a banker finally got a voice inside the system.

- He spoke about over 500 banker suicides.
- He spoke about late night pressure.
- He spoke about humiliation, targets, and unethical sales pressure.
- He spoke about bankers who resign because they simply cannot survive the mental torture anymore.

Every day bankers are forced to sit till late night. Every day they are pushed to sell schemes like insurance, APY and other products just to satisfy unrealistic targets.
Without numbers, many are not even allowed to go home peacefully.

- Bankers are breaking down.
- Some are leaving jobs.
- Some are silently suffering.
- Some are losing their lives.

And where were many union leaders are silent, Comfortable and Busy protecting positions instead of protecting people

When our own voices were ignored
one MP stood up and spoke our truth.

Deep respect and salute to #AARahim for showing the real condition of Indian banking:
- Target humiliation
- Late night pressure
- Mental harassment
- Unethical sales culture

Also respect to those brave bankers who took this issue to him and asked him to raise it in Parliament.
That courage matters.

Now it is our duty as normal bankers
Do not wait silently. Reach your MPs. Tell them the truth and Ask them to raise the reality of banking pressure inside Parliament

Because real change will not come from circulars alone. It will come when our voices become impossible to ignore.
