@Tcubed22@DjokovicFan_ The Russian youngster had expressed her love for Federer, winner of 20 Grand Slams, on several occasions. In 2024, she was asked on Instagram who was her favorite player, and replied: “Roger Federer has always been number 1.”
@Tcubed22@DjokovicFan_ Well there are so many players whose idol is Roger but none of them can play like Federer so that is not an issue. As regards Andreeva, she herself has stated that Roger is her no 1 idol and inspiration
@JhjBhhhu@brozick2@josemorgado Greatest weak era is now .. where a 24 years old in form no 2 player in the world can not beat a 38 year old opponent who virtually should have lost in the previous round too
@tennis3601 Tippy toed footwork is always a key to his shot making ... attacking players always have to have very quick and balanced footwork like he had.
@fednanen Because of the inconsistent Carlos Djokovic won important career matches and titles that he should not have won .. luckily we have the solid player in Sinner .. otherwise Djoko will be still winning slams.
@Rah2f447642@nick_ally1986 Prime was 2011-2016, Roger's prime was 2004-2009 ... these things are science and they don't change. He won so much during the latter half of his career only because of abysmal competition. If Sinner Alcaraz were not there he would still be winning slams now.
@Djoko_UTD Fed at 38 was plating against a very strong field (Nadal, Djokovic, Wawrinka, Thiem, etc. etc.) .. Today (except Sinner and Alcaraz) no other players even worth mentioning of. So either Sinner will win or Carlos .. such a weak competition ... so it's easier to make Semis now
