@RepJoshG@terrencemcd Thank you Congressman! It’s clear that Mamdani is completely unsuited to serve as Mayor of the city with such a large and proud Jewish population.
The world demonizes Israel 365 days a year.
Perhaps, for just one day—October 7th—the critics of Israel could take a vacation from their hysterical hatred of the world’s only Jewish State and find it within themselves to express condolences for the thousands of Israelis murdered, maimed, mutilated, raped, and abducted at the hands of Hamas.
Canceling a graduation in a synagogue that hosted Mamdani “because of Israel” is a warning sign to Jews who thinks they will be exempted from being scapegoated by antizionists. Antizionism is a hate movement and it’s gaining traction.

Honored to have my research mentioned by @netanyahu in his address to the UNGA. Israel has in fact implemented more civilian harm mitigation measures (many that no nation has ever even imagined/attemped) than any military in history.
The other facts in his speech were also spot on. Israel has not only implemented extraordinary precautions in urban warfare to prevent civilian harm while Hamas has done everything it can to increase civilian harm, there is no genocide, actually the opposite of genocide in Gaza, Israel provided tons of food, water, medical supplies, facilitated immunizations for the entire populations, field hospitals, built new water lines, electricity, got patients to hospitals outside of Gaza, and much more.
“The laughter came first. The knowledge came later.
That, in miniature, is a significant part of the problem Jews have been confronting.
People who know astonishingly little about Jewish history have become remarkably comfortable explaining antisemitism to Jews”

“As a Democratic member of Congress, I can attest that for a growing number of my colleagues, being anti-Israel has now become a nonnegotiable moral litmus test,” writes New Jersey representative Josh Gottheimer.

Rep. Josh Gottheimer: “Hate is being normalized in plain sight, & not just online. It has now manifested not only in elections, but also outside synagogues and Jewish-owned businesses. This shouldn’t scare only the Jews. These sentiments are anti-American” https://t.co/phk0si2d3N
The Democratic congressman has been pandering to the anti-Israel left for months. In a podcast interview this week, he realized what his new bedfellows actually believe, writes Eli Lake. https://t.co/ISp6swBtaK
The most disturbing part of the "Drop the ADL" campaign isn't that it criticizes ADL. Criticism is healthy.
It's that it treats Jewish civil rights advocacy as inherently illegitimate, portraying Jewish orgs like @ADL that document antisemitism as manipulative while extending legitimacy to virtually every other civil rights community.
That's not just a dangerous double standard. Its bigotry. Its racism. Its wrong.
Josh Hirsch's essay is well worth your time. https://t.co/AhlO469PLx
Let's not lose our grip on the facts - instead of recriminations and accusations - just the facts.
1) Congressman @RoKhanna was offered to coordinate his visit with the State of Israel - this goes beyond notifying of his presence in the country. He was offered in-depth coordination of his schedule to avoid misunderstandings, and he chose to ignore that offer.
He also chose not to coordinate his visit with the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem.
2) He chose to conduct his visit accompanied by Palestinian activists, and, for some reason, @nytimes journalists with cameras at the ready. With him was also a person affiliated with @jstreet, an organization that actively lobbies against the government of Israel on Capitol Hill.
3) Mr. Khanna and his entourage entered what was believed to be a closed military zone without permission. The military had no prior knowledge of him going there, due to his refusal to coordinate with them. The vehicle they stopped was unknown to them and therefore provoked suspicion. The moment details of the Congressman's identity were cleared, he was free to go. At no point was the congressman, or any member of his party, threatened by the soldiers, or civilians bearing arms.
4) To add insult to injury - the Congressman used this instance as an opportunity to tout "genocide" and "apartheid" libels to the press, propelling himself to the center of yet another anti-Israel media frenzy.
The facts don't lie - this was a cheap, anticipated provocation, that could, and should have been avoided.
5) Calling me a liar won’t change the facts. I’d be happy to host Congressman Khanna at our embassy for an in-depth conversation on his grievances regarding Israel.
Oh would you look at that… Hamas operatives coming out from a tunnel… in Gaza… inside a school… with lots and lots and lots and lots of… weapons.
And then they just casually move through the school and stack the weapons inside cupboards and specially concealed nooks.
And when the IDF come for those weapons that will be used to KILL Israelis, the whole Arab and western world and the UN will cry and shout and scream that Israel “targets schools and… children” while Hamas cry and pretend they are the victims.
It’s all so predictable and boring already. When the kids die, this is why. And all the fake moral outrage and condemnation at Israel for doing what the rest of the world sees but does nothing about is all too pathetic.
If the world intentionally turns a blind eye to schools and kids being used as human shields, then it is the world, NOT ISRAEL, responsible for the consequences.
Egypt loves Palestinians so much they build a fortress of border walls to keep all the Palestinians out of Egypt. So humane and caring 😂
Islamic virtue signalling off the charts
One of the many gifts my father left me were clippings of stories he collected over the years. Once I found this clipping from a James Hodgson in Salt Lake City:
"I was lounging in front of the TV watching a second-run Western when Dad came in from shoveling snow. He looked at me quizzically and said, 'In 24 hours you won't even remember what you are looking at now. How about doing something for the next 20 minutes that you'll remember 20 from now and enjoy every time you think about it?'"
"'What is it' I asked.'
"'Well, son, there's 8 inches of snow on old Mrs. Woodbury's walk.' he said. 'Why don"t you see if you can shovel it and get back without her knowing?'
"I did it in 15 minutes. She never knew who had done it. And Dad was right. I've enjoyed it every time I've thought about it."
To celebrate the birth of our nation, do a mitzvah - it may stay with you a lifetime.
One of the last photos of the six hostages who were kidnapped by Hamas, tortured, and starved in an underground tunnel in Gaza.
They were later brutally executed.
