In conclusion, I think it is more nuanced than 'Is QE good or bad?' The type of QE and the specific role it plays in different circumstances is important in our understanding. Yes, it's great having lower interest rates, but if firms aren't able to access it, it doesn't help.
There is an argument that it could have been a lot worse without QE, unemployment rates etc. There is also an argument that increasing the money supply (printing) to fund a deficit, could in fact, normalize the economy when facing a liquidity trap, deflation and stagnation.
People who are involved with the Crypto Industry know the problems all too well.
People not involved don't necessarily have a clue about the pitfalls, so have nothing to compare it with, let alone understand the differences between ICO & STO, Scams & regulated investment, etc.
@token_woken@MichaelHiles An interim measure that could work for certain circumstances, at least, but like you say, eventually we can drop 'digital' from #DigitalSecurities
@token_woken@MichaelHiles Totally agree with this. I find it nauseating to see how unprofessional that community has become over the years. RH (SPAM KING) is a symptom of a bigger problem.
'Fractionalized Investing' has a better ring to it.
Of course, you sell your own book, but we don't wish to hype anything in particular in such a nascent market. It should however be noted that we've seen the future, and we're here to shape it. #tokenization
