Where are we now with Iran
The new Iranian regime’s supreme leader says enriched uranium is not leaving the country. Isn’t that a tripwire?
We hear nothing about the issue of ballistic missiles, which is a huge issue.
Nothing about the Iranian people.
And nothing about what real enforcement would look like, given the regime has no intention of adhering to any deal in the years ahead.
The regime is also declaring victory based on the ceasefire and its constant extensions. It doesn’t believe we’ve the will to restart military operations or keep up the economic pressure. It’s well aware of the midterm elections and the pressure to get a deal.
It also seems like the issues on the table are being narrowed to reach a deal. I’m basing this on reports as well as experts who understand the Iranian regimen’s ideology and tactics.
Only the Ayatollah @BBC could turn a horror story about Afghan fathers selling their little daughters into sex slavery…and make the MEN the victims.
Not one question about why there’s a ready market for child brides and sex slaves in the first place. Too “Islamophobic,” apparently.
Because everyone knows the truth they’re too cowardly to say out loud: Islamic doctrine and culture make this possible. Child marriage is permitted, girls are treated as property, and desperate fathers know they can traffic their own daughters with religious cover.
Real men, decent fathers, would rather die than sell their little girls.
If Western feminists still had an ounce of integrity, they would be burning down the streets over this documentary. But silence is easier when the perpetrators check the “oppressed minority” box and you are too much of a coward to call out Muslims.
I hope and expect after months of negotiating with the Iranians that the Trump administration will reject any effort by Iran to yet again delay negotiations. The regime has had months to reach a deal, but it seems apparent to me they are playing games.
It is my preference for a diplomatic solution, but Iran’s oldest trick in the book is delay, delay, delay.
As to any potential deal, I look forward to reviewing it in the Senate.
DEAL OR NO DEAL
When we suddenly hit the brakes and called off the planned military operation against the Iranian regime, it was clear that something was going on. We gave the regime 2-3 days to come to some arrangement that presumably includes no nukes. What does no nukes mean? Are their scientists going to forget what they developed? How long can we keep that in a box? What happens to the enriched uranium? We are told: 1. they have enough to make 10 bombs in 11 days, and 2. that it takes a matter of weeks to further enrich uranium from 60% to 90% nuclear grade. What about the plutonium, which no one is talking about?
And the ballistic missiles, that were destroying targets throughout the Middle East? And the range of those missiles, which can now hit Europe? We didn't even know how far those missiles could reach. I guess all of this will change? The Iranian regime that kicked out inspectors, hid their activities, and violated every single agreement it ever signed, will have changed because of our military actions? Honestly, does this act or sound like a regime that is defeated or cares about death? For some reason, the West cannot get its collective head around the fact that the Iranian regime's mindset is not one of mutual existence. It is a religious, extremist, fundamentalist cult that insists on conquering or destroying all those who do not bend to its ideology. They have told us this. They have written this. They preach this. It is in their books, pamphlets, sermons, etc. It is a revolution without borders, not merely one nation among others. Haven't we learned this by now? Many Americans have been killed during the last 47-years as a result of the regime's ambitions.
My greatest concern has always been enforcement, which has not been discussed much even after all of this time. If there is a deal, whatever deal it is, perhaps the greatest deal in the history of deals, again, the regime cheats, lies, and hides what it is doing. Our intel and satellites simply cannot catch all of it. And if we find violations, then what? "Well, we'll hit them again, Mark." Is that what we did before Trump? Does anyone believe that's what we will do after Trump? Is that what a Gavin Newsom or Kamala Harris or the rest of the Democrats would do if one of them became president? Heck, even Republican presidents did not act. For crying out loud, look at all the noise, the appeasers, the pacificists, the isolationists, etc. These are loud movements in our politics and government. And look at the reaction to the temporary increase in a gallon of gasoline. Would we have the will even a few years from now?
And what of Hezbollah, still a potent terrorist force? And what of Hamas? The Iranian regime will promise not to support them? My response: is the Brooklyn Bridge still for sale? And how do we stop the regime if it funds them anyway? What will we do? And the Iranian people? What of them? "They should rise up," it is said. Well, they did. Without arms. And they paid a horrendous price and still are. I can only imagine what more would be done to them.
Of course, the Europeans will be useless, as they are now. Even with detente with China and something like it with Russia, they still will provide support to the Iranian regime. So will North Korea. We have no control over their sabotage of any deal. This all must be considered.
And the Democrats, always desperate for a political opportunity, will ask rhetorically, "why did we go to war," "this is Obama 2.0," "we wasted billions for nothing," "Trump is a TACO," and on and on. I can hear it now. The truth won't matter. The spin will be constant. Of course, if the Democrats had their way, the Iranian regime would already have nuclear weapons. But none of that will matter. This could be very damaging for the mid-term elections, despite all the demands for "off-ramps." Yet, the problem is the regime itself, is it not? How do we contain it if it survives?
To be absolutely clear, I have no inside information. In fact, as far as I know at the end of another 2-3 days of negotiations military action against the regime will resume. But it's very important to think about these issues and much more.
Right now, the regime fears the Iranian people more than it fears the combined power of the U.S. and Israel.
Washington should provide maximum support to the Iranian people to fracture the regime and end the Islamic Republic’s illegal occupation of Iran.
On Iranian TV today, foaming Islamist radicals cheered beheading regime opponents.
“A person who sells his people and nation should be separated from his head.”
This is the bloodthirsty evil that occupies Iran and defines the IRGC, and Bushra Shaikh defends it. Disgusting.
'KILLING OFF THE COUNTRY': Iran regime executes 21, arrests over 4,000 since the beginning of the war. Tehran was recently accused of killing some 40,000 citizens during the January uprising against the regime. https://t.co/fGX5aTEZNL
🚨U.S. citizen Christopher Helali was invited by Iran’s terrorist regime to pump out propaganda.
He called the former Supreme Leader of terrorist Islamic regime, “his leader.”
This is treasonous behavior for the world’s top state sponsor of terror.

Arrested. Silenced. Hanged at dawn.
This is Iran in 21st-century: A photo of the lifeless body of the heroic martyr Sasan Azadvar, who was executed for protesting.
Imagine building a life for 21 years and losing it to a system that treats human beings as disposable.
Twenty-one. That’s not a criminal mastermind. That’s someone who should be figuring out life, not losing it.
Ro Khanna calls himself the “I am Team America” candidate.
But he’s been endorsed by NIAC Action, the organization widely known as “Team IRGC” and called out as the regime’s lobby arm right here in America on Iran State TV run by IRGC.
You can’t claim to be Team America while getting backed by the group that consistently pushes Tehran’s line:
softer on the IRGC, against strong sanctions, and always framing things to help the mullahs.
People should know who’s really behind the endorsements.
Team America or Team IRGC?
Erfan Kianic, an innocent Iranian, was executed by the Islamic Republic this week.
The UN? Silent.
Amnesty International? Silent.
Doctors Without Borders? Silent.
The Red Cross? Silent.
The EU? Silent.
It is truly remarkable that the people of Iran - apart from the few privileged white SIM card holding regime supporters who can by-pass the digital blackout - continue to have their voices cut for 60 days straight. Bear that in mind next time you hear “news” that the masses are fully behind the IRGC and cheer on executions of protesters.
