good news: it is the first model that feels like talking to a thoughtful person to me. i have had several moments where i've sat back in my chair and been astonished at getting actually good advice from an AI.

bad news: it is a giant, expensive model. we really wanted to launch it to plus and pro at the same time, but we've been growing a lot and are out of GPUs. we will add tens of thousands of GPUs next week and roll it out to the plus tier then. (hundreds of thousands coming soon, and i'm pretty sure y'all will use every one we can rack up.)

this isn't how we want to operate, but it's hard to perfectly predict growth surges that lead to GPU shortages.

a heads up: this isn’t a reasoning model and won’t crush benchmarks. it’s a different kind of intelligence and there’s a magic to it i haven’t felt before. really excited for people to try it!

Great post by Neil about trade sizing.

However, one of the biggest challenges I see is that most traders are far from following these principles.

The reality is: about 90% of beginner traders tend to go all-in on a single trade, without considering the quality of the setup or the risk involved. This approach can be extremely dangerous for long-term success.

I’ve written about risk management before, and one of the most common questions I get is: “I only have a small account ($100/$200); risking $10/$20 per trade won’t help me grow my account.”

Position sizing is key; Even with a small account, it’s crucial to manage risk. Risking 1-2% per trade, even on small accounts, is still a sound strategy. If you think risking $10-$20 won’t grow your account, then you’re probably looking for quick, big wins, which can lead to big losses just as easily.

Focus more on high probability trades; Focus on setups that have a higher chance of success and risk accordingly. If you find a setup that meets all your criteria, it’s okay to risk a bit more. But always ensure it’s within your overall risk tolerance.

If you're unsure, risk less becuase not every trade will be perfect.

Small, consistent gains lead to compounding over time. It’s not about hitting a home run with every trade; it’s about building your account steadily.

Stay disciplined, focus on long-term growth, and avoid the temptation to gamble your entire account on any single trade.

Trading markets have been here for 100+ years and they will be here for next 100 years.
