@jeremyct Posts like this are exhausting. Budget airlines have always charged for seats. Checked bags etc. If it's important for you to sit next to a particular person, whether they're 6 or 60 years old, pay for a seat. It's not rocket science.

@cfishman I just can't fathom that a no-show charge in DC is a new concept to you. This has existed since covid. Restaurants in DC operate on extremely slim margins, which is why so many restaurants are closing. This is also justifiable and makes sense.

@cowgirl_bebop IAD is the International airport associated with Washington DC. There is no other major metropolitan City near IAD. BWI's nearest city is Baltimore so it's more common and always has been to associate BWI with Baltimore in spite of the W in the BWI name.

@JonsGotJets @AmexBusiness You can check in on the app while you're on the way to the airport. If there is no wait at all it doesn't work because your entry is only good for 10 minutes when you get to the top of the list. But if there is a wait you'll be moving up the list as you're on the way.
