Small announcement: done with twitter and deleting the app. It’s just gone too far down hill now as to be annoying and a time sink. You can find me on Instagram, not so much threads. Here’s a Christmas Pomsky to send me off:
@Ricker666 100% agree… here’s mine: touchscreens in cars are mostly BS. It just means my eyes are off the road longer trying to find some sub menu. Give me a button to push!
Wow, I mean, if you had told me 3 years ago that:
FTX
Binance
BlockFi
Terra
Celsius Network
Voyager Digital
Three Arrows Capital
Gemini Trust
Hodlnaut
And hundreds of other companies were all run by frauds
I would have absolutely believed you
Oh god, he’s going to do it, Satya is going to fucking do it. Microsoft has over 120bn in cash, it already owns 49% of open AI and it just hired the Open AI management team, the company is in chaos and investors are worried. They’re going to buy it aren’t they?
satya and my top priority remains to ensure openai continues to thrive
we are committed to fully providing continuity of operations to our partners and customers
the openai/microsoft partnership makes this very doable
@khouryrt This would actually be a really interesting study. The use of punctuation correlated to the keyboard used. But I bet apple is literally changing the English language.
@FreeStyleDiabet Overall I get why NHS went with it, it's a cheap solution relative to a proper CGM. But the "flash" approach doesn't work. It's either too aggressive or not smart enough but totally misses the sweet spot of value. /end.
So CGM for diabetics is still crap. Until it’s in an Apple Watch it always will be. Tried a @FreeStyleLibre on NHS but it just gives sensor error too often to be any use and it disconnects too much so gives me all sorts of useless alerts. Back to finger pricks for me I think.
@FreeStyleDiabet The problem is that is the time you actually most need this tool. So it's basically not useful when it is most needed and really annoying when it's not. I can feel myself going low and all your system says is sensor error. 3/n
