Watch it. Africa to the Americas before Columbus. Australia before the Europeans. Britain before England existed. And if contact, trade, or a rumor is enough to transfer sovereignty, then the people making these videos should be very careful, because by that standard almost nobody on earth is standing on land that was never walked by somebody else.

This is not pride in a faith. It is a method. First they move the origin story. Then they tell you that you are the guest.

Victory has not been achieved. They haven’t done nearly enough. They feel ashamed. Change has to come, and the form it has to take is the fall of the American empire and the Western powers that, in his telling, have been hurting “our people” since the beginning. Inshallah they will fall.

His message to Gaza is that there are people here, young and old, willing to put their lives on the line to bring those empires down.

That isn’t a protest chant that got away from him. That’s the program. They don’t hide it. They don’t wrap it in two-state language or human-rights paperwork. They stand in the country that gave them the microphone and announce that the country itself is the enemy that has to be brought down.

The same people will spend the next day calling you a bigot for noticing what they just volunteered. @mehdirhasan will call you an Islamophobe for calling this what it is.

They aren’t confused. They aren’t“raising awareness.” They are recruiting in public, and they are doing it in the open because they’ve decided the West will treat a call to destroy it as just another opinion.

America would not wake up if ten more planes were flown into ten more towers. It will wake up when Islam has taken the country and the Constitution has been replaced by the Quran. By then it is too late, and they won’t even have their precious free speech left to talk about it.

He told a story about an Algerian ambassador who corrected him, not because the number was too high, but because it was too low. More than three million martyrs, the ambassador said. Then he went back to the point.

They will not accept anything less than Palestine from the river to the sea, and they will enter as conquerors, even if it takes time and even if the pile of their own dead has to get that high first. They treat their own people the way we treat ammunition. One of ours is a national wound. A million of theirs is a rounding error on the way to a slogan.

The West still talks about this as if it were a border dispute that ran out of patience. It so obviously isn’t and never was. It’s a movement that has already decided how many of its own children it is willing to spend, and it said the number on camera last week.
