@shawngorham Everyone keeps citing a country club as the social alternative, but just because the example doesn't fly in SoCal, doesn't mean the logic is wrong.

Make your pour over and then go socialize at the dog park in the morning. Or join a climbing gym, buy new golf clubs, etc
