@Fruit_Tuesday@FirstNameJ0hn@EdensRelic Regal has referenced this in a podcast - as he was walking in to film the piece, JBL had just done his and said to him something along the lines of “you don’t think he had something to do with this, do you?”
That along with the rumours meant Regal was deliberately very guarded.
@PeterDellaPenna Not really *that* remarkable - the women’s game needed it, the men’s game didn’t. It’s completely ruined the structure of the men’s season, while it’s enhanced the women’s schedule.
I’m a big fan of the Hundred, but I can also see why it has so many detractors on the men’s side.
Just to confirm, this is three pints and a few hot dog sliders over the equivalent time of a T20 game. Wouldn’t last five minutes on the Western Terrace or Hollies…
@airz1879@TheDB30 There was a long period where north east non-league teams were quite happy playing in isolation in the Northern League and refusing promotion. Rules changed maybe ten years ago to stop teams doing that, but it's meant the supply of teams upward has been much less over the years.
Unpopular opinion, but I don’t think he’s even close to having the dodgiest action in #T20WorldCup. If he didn’t do the pause pre-delivery (which @RDBCroft10 and Jeremy Snape did for years in the 2000s), I don’t think anyone is questioning him.
@Jon_Finkel My son (12) has just been sent home from school because of a power cut and we've had just this same conversation - he's having a day to work on his FC25 manager career and is delighted.
