After yesterday’s successful launch, one thing is clear:
Alberta’s done waiting.
Over 6K new followers joined us on X in one day, and we’re grateful to everyone who has donated so far.

I HAVE GOOD NEWS FOR ONCE!!!
The Charlotte NC high school that painted over a student's tribute to Charlie Kirk, called the police on her, and then publicly branded the 16-year-old girl a VANDAL in front of her entire school...
...has just been forced to pay her $95,000!!!!!!
Her name is Gabby Stout, she was a junior at Ardrey Kell High School.
Days after Charlie Kirk was assass*nated, she got PERMISSION from the front office to paint the school's spirit rock, a tradition kids have used for years.
She painted a heart. An American flag. "Freedom 1776." And "Live Like Kirk ... John 11:25."
Within HOURS, the school painted over it.
Then the principal emailed the ENTIRE school calling it VANDALISM, claiming she broke the code of conduct, and announcing they had called LAW ENFORCEMENT to open a criminal investigation.
They pulled this teenage girl out of class again and again and then MADE HER WRITE A CONFESSION!!!!
They demanded her PHONE so they could search her call logs.
For painting a rock. With permission.
So her family sued. And they WON.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools now has to pay $95,000, publicly clear her name, and admit in writing she did NOTHING wrong.
But not only that... they were forced to adopt a brand new student free speech policy because of her.
THIS is how you fight back.
GOD BLESS GABBY STOUT!!!!!!
@acoyne's argument seems to miss an obvious point: since Alberta became a province in 1905, the political map of the world has changed dramatically. Well over a hundred new countries have come into existence. Sovereignty is not some strange or impossible idea; it is a normal response when existing political structures no longer serve people well.
In fact, the many examples Mr. Coyne gives of historic federal-provincial struggles over roles, powers and responsibilities illustrate the central point Alberta secessionists such as myself have been making. Canada has proven itself to be a suboptimal size and structure for effective, efficient and fair government across a country this large, with such deep regional differences in culture, economy and priorities.
Alberta’s problem with Ottawa is not merely one bad policy or one unpopular federal government. It is a recurring structural problem. Ottawa too often restrains Alberta’s prosperity while claiming the authority to decide what is fair or allowed. Mr. Coyne’s examples do not refute the case for Alberta sovereignty; they help prove it. It is time for a new arrangement, one in which Alberta is sovereign.
For years, hospitals kept Americans in the dark about the true cost of care. Families made medical decisions without knowing the price—and too often got hit with bills that drained their savings.
That ends now.
Under President Trump’s leadership, HHS is enforcing hospital price transparency with real consequences. @DrOzCMS and I have a simple message for hospitals: Post your actual prices. Come into compliance immediately—or face serious consequences.
Brian Simmons emphatically claimed that an angel helped him complete the "Passion Translation" version of Romans.
It only took me 45 minutes last night to find at least 35 plagiarized footnotes.
Does God send angels to help people break the 8th commandment?
Christians have not recently been adept political thinkers. So, 2 things on this…
1) We should respect Mormons enough to be honest with them that, by their own self-identification, they are “not creedal Christians” (what Mormons THEMSELVES will say, bc they understand they disagree with many/most of the core doctrines of Christianity that are expressed in the earliest creeds)
2) Christians need to develop the ability to understand there are two overlapping but distinct realms: the church and the state (Jesus, 1 Peter, Augustine)
Therefore, there will be some people that are on a DIFFERENT TEAM spiritually (not Christians), but on the SAME TEAM culturally (aligned in almost all political / cultural goals).
If you don’t understand this, you will oppose people you should befriend in the political/cultural realm, and you will befriend people you should differentiate from in the church/spiritual realm.
Celibacy is a gift, singleness is an affliction. I never thought of it like that, but it really gets to the heart of it. We are still called to remain content when enduring affliction, but we bear false witness when we mis-characterize an affliction as a gift.
@TheMuppetPastor Someone's use of
Biblical
Often indicates being ruled by
The Law of Sin and Death
When it should indicate being ruled by
The Law of the Life Giving Spirit
🚨 James Talarico just won the Dem primary in Texas. Still, many people still have no idea who he is or how his campaign was built on the intentional distortion of scripture.

I would ask you to share this episode we did on @jamestalarico (that's pushing ~700k views across all platforms).
What he's doing requires a level of theological awareness to understand, which is why he's deceptive to a lot of Christians.
