The noice regarding ai slop is over blown in my opinion. I’ve never produced more quality code than now. I can refactor on the fly, make sure I have extensive code test coverage and run deep security reviews on each PR. Each one of these would often be deprioritized when I was constrained by how many lines of code I could muster in a day. Not to mention running continuous best practices reviews.

Sure you could just be vibe coding all day with no idea what is going on, but all of us that take engineering seriously are leveraging this tech to the max and the quality of code released is staggering!

The older, and hopefully wiser, I get, the more it feels like we are operating in a simulation. Just sat down to eat and after explaining what we do “we speak to animals” my server immediately referenced the game Dredge. It lets you use the language of creatures to talk to them?

Been a long time since I gamed… but this game has me intrigued. Love the look n feel.
