I GOT THE DOMAIN! I FINALLY GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!1 🥳🎉
Paint.NET is now at https://t.co/ZJTUII4bVG!
Well, it will be just as soon as I push all the buttons to migrate content and set up redirects from getpaint.net etc. For now it's just a "hey go here" redirect page.
You don't appreciate how incredibly hard it is to use the extremely limited English vocabulary creatively when you grew up with proper Slavic profanities.
"gotcha"ing an autistic person into eating something with an ingredient they don't like to prove they can't tell is like me spitting in your drink to prove you can't tell that you've just drank my spit
@Psychohistory0@notch Lol I came here to post basically the same story just now :D I had the jpg on my drive since 2018 and did OCR + cleanup on it today and managed to get it to run too! :D
And then I spent some time undoing the compression and digging in the source code / extracting textures. Fun!

@JezCorden The unwillingness to fix basic operating system annoyances, and the basic disrespect for consumer choice (e.g. the never-ending manipulative dialogs with “yes” and “ask me later”) has long been eroding basic customer confidence. @pavandavuluri
@docm77 I've got a terrifying nightmare about you today, I hope this isn't too weird to share.
It was a tweet from you that doctors found cancer in your knee, and everything afterwards unfolded similarly to Technoblade. The consequences were awful to imagine.
I wish you good health Doc.
10 years ago today, when I was 16 years old, I published MLG Antivirus on @YouTube. The most viewed MLG video of all time.
I have compiled some fun facts about it that you might enjoy reading!
I satirized this idea a few years ago when ChatGPT first came out. The reason it's "cheating" is because unless you learn the facts and skills, technology will always be a crutch.
Imagine not knowing how to multiply or add numbers or how to spell correctly.
Imagine a physicist not knowing how to compute a derivative without Mathematica.
Imagine your physician searching "shortness of breath WebMD". Or trying to date someone while feeding everything through Google Translate.
Imagine your surgeon whipping out chatgpt in the middle of your operation.
There's a reason why we teach students to compute limits the hard way before giving them L'Hopital's rule.
The whole point of learning things is so *you* know them. When you learn something, it becomes yours. Relinquishing your agency and thought is not just pathetic, it's saying that you will always be nothing.
There is nothing wrong with not knowing something. Just stop worshipping your own ignorance.
nothing actually exists anymore like so many physical stores are closing and you can't have a house and everything is a subscription or an app u can't play games without internet and u can't even guarantee that art and writing is even made by people like everything is vapor
"A calculator app? Anyone could make that."
Not true.
A calculator should show you the result of the mathematical expression you entered. That's much, much harder than it sounds.
What I'm about to tell you is the greatest calculator app development story ever told.
