大阪府が若者向け（高校生）のギャンブル依存症啓発動画を公募し、株式会社 博報堂プロダクツ 関西支社 が選ばれました。当会も応募しましたが、審査の結果、当会は最下位でした。
こちらがその結果ですが、当会以外は広告代理店等の企業で、審査員は依存症関係者ではありません。

それでも良いものができるのであれば、もちろん全く問題はありません。
しかし我々出来上がった作品を見て愕然としています。
この公募、動画の絵コンテ・脚本等まで提出しているのです。

これのどこがギャンブル依存症の啓発動画なのでしょうか？
・動画冒頭において「楽して生きる人生をみつけた」という動機付けがなされていますが、これは「ギャンブル依存症になる人間は怠け者である」という誤ったステレオタイプのギャンブル依存症者像を強化するものです。

・動画内では、依存症になってしまったことを「自分の心が鬼になった」と表現し、解決策としては「自分の中の鬼に打ち勝つ」ことが重要であると説いています。
これは医学ではなく、ただの無知による精神論です。

・本動画における「鬼」の表現は、本来であれば未成年や若者をターゲットに違法行為を行わせる「違法業者」に向けられるべきです。依存症という病気に苦しむ当事者を「鬼（＝異質なもの、排除すべきもの）」として描くことは、当事者の自尊心を傷つけ、孤立を深める結果となります。

当会としては、現在賛同して頂ける、団体や病院や個人でも医師や弁護士、ワーカーさんといった、依存症の専門職の方を集め是正の要望書を提出しようと考えております。
現在、集まっている関係団体と要望書は添付写真の通りです。
是非、ご賛同いただける依存症の関係者の皆様、[email protected] までご連絡を下さい。
どうか皆様のお力を貸して頂き、このような酷い動画が大阪の青少年に届けられぬよう力を貸して下さい。
