Cost of things and labor going to zero and the plebs benefitting from it are two quite separate ideas.

When the oligarchs have infinite resources as you suggest, they won’t need the plebs anymore—their zillions of robots will produce everything they need and physically defend them from any revolutionary attempt.

Money and power will buy them more land and resources. A starving and shrinking plebs population will only serve them well.
