@straits_times It's entirely presumptive and irresponsible for this reporter to say they agreed to this b/c Taipei "needs and desires international visibility". The city and 101 DID NOT go out and seek this.

@straits_times If it's going to be published 10 HOURS AFTER the event, maybe look at how Taipei 101's management evaluated the risk, bet on it, and did not lose. What's their risk appetite, what aspects did they consider? Have THEM tell us why they agreed to it.
