you can see there's:
- a crosshatch triplanar normal map on the mesh
- a solidify modifier with a second material for the shell
- shell has flipped normals + pure black + noise in alpha
- compositing is noise on position + displace nodes..
@ChimpSquared Depends on what you want to do with it, probably. I am intentionally keeping my toolset there minimal to focus more on sculpting and Nomad works great for that! Can't say anything about complex scenes, but the proper outline and proper pivots should help with those as well
@FxiPtp Thanks for the repost! If I understood the translation correctly, getting the feeling of brush strokes was actually quite easy since in nomad you can paint with transparency directly on the mesh. A wonderful feature for sketches!
