@markoah According to international law: the 1920 San Remo agreement and 1922 League of Nations Mandate for Palestine, Israel has a legal right to the West Bank. Whether they choose to act on this right is a political calculation.
@TheRambler1999@mosh_t@clashreport The difference is that the rest of Israel is more assertive in protecting their own culture, heritage and identity.
The UK doesnโt appear to have it under control, and/or many people there might not give a shit.
@Reaperofmars2@owenjonesjourno@JohnCleese I actually think quite a lot of British Muslims have what could be described as extremist views.
Itโs not even just a tiny fraction.
@Reaperofmars2@owenjonesjourno@JohnCleese Heโs been deliberately misleading.
The facts are as follows:
Most British Muslims disapprove of ISIS.
However, around half also want homosexuality to be a criminal offense.
ISIS are one type of Islamists. You can still be an Islamist without supporting ISIS.
@horenh9@YinonMagal I thought Edelstein is right wing who leads a new RW party? Therefore, he should recommend a RW figure to be PM. Bibi is that, but Eisenkot is a leftist who wanted to end the war in Gaza too early. I get Edelstein is against Haredi draft dodgers, but he must maintain principles.
@JakeWSimons Christianity is banned in Saudi Arabia.
There are hardly any Jews left in Islamic countries.
Under Sharia, husbands are allowed to beat their wives, & female court testimony is worth half.
But an old video from 2019 of one Muslim woman being a bit decent changes all these facts?
