They are responsible for their citizens. If I were living illegally in a foreign country, I would expect to be deported, and as a U.S. citizen, that country would expect the U.S. to take me back - and the U.S. would be legally obligated to do so. Why should this be any different for Colombia or any other country? International law and agreements stipulate that countries should accept their deported nationals. This isn’t just about responsibility; it’s about mutual respect and adherence to international norms.
