@OutofSpecDetail Pros:
-Uses phone’s connectivity so you don’t have to pay for a subscription.
-Easier to pick up podcasts and audiobooks where you left off.
-Plug in to any car and all your stuff is there!

Cons:
-Outdated UI
-No/poor integration with car’s features (like EV routing)

@wholemars @MarkRober It does seem that his video showed a failure of Collision Avoidance Assist - that system should be active regardless of FSD or Autopilot. I think it’s reasonable to expect emergency braking when AP/FSD aren’t engaged. Maybe some of the FSD stack needs to merge with CAA?

@itskyleconner There are actually two of these along I-70 in KS - one in Abilene, and another in Maple Hill. They’re *supposed* to be 350kW. I think there are a couple Pilot/Flying J’s being worked on which should be a similar setup.

@RateYourCharge What’s going on with the @ElectrifyAm location in Hays, KS? Has been offline for a week. It’s the only DC charger on a ~190 mile stretch of I-70. Hopefully not down long term.

@acedtect Apple’s done a pretty good job of integrating Dark Sky’s features into the iOS 16 weather app. Even the 10-day hourly forecasts are there now. I hate that it’s not available on other platforms anymore.
