Added a bunch of releases and scans to the Warcraft II map pack collection site. Particularly stoked about "734 Maps" - elusive but so rewarding to finally find a copy!
@thomasmahler For these games and a first/default playthrough I wouldn't want them, for good reasons others have brought up.
But as an option(!), especially for nonstandard and re-plays, and on a tech level as a "new" feature you've somehow injected into existing games, I think it's very cool!
@MickCraftGaming Like a child's crayon drawings stuck to a fridge, they're wonderful where they are but not really something the rest of the world needs to be subjected to 😅
@edmundmcmillen The game was a fantastic, fresh take on platformers, making a lot of great decisions and having the right priorities. Your insights shared in the Bit Transmission podcast (2010?) were awesome, listened to it quite a few times.
Cobbled together an old-school style live scorebot for Soldier of Fortune II, reporting to @Discord like we used to on IRC back in the day.
Pretty redundant with @Twitch but, ya know. For fun and nostalgia.
Didn't know the term "vibe coding" when starting this, but guess it fits.
Got a few more jewelcases on the way. This relatively rare and seemingly undumped one arrived today! Took months to catch a whiff of a copy, then had to track it down to a bookstore in Germany.
Pretty weird cover art on this one...

Happy 30th anniversary, Warcraft!
Good to see the remasters confirmed! A physical release would be cool.
Speaking of which, progress on my collection of big box and jewelcase map packs for Warcraft 2.
